Not the Booker Prize 2015 shortlist announced

The shortlist has been announced for this year’s Not the Booker Prize, which is run by the Guardian in the UK and voted on by the public. The shortlisted titles, chosen from a longlist of 70, are: Fishnet (Kirstin Innes, Freight Books), The Artificial Anatomy of Parks (Kat Gordon, Legend Press), Dark Star (Oliver Langmead, Unsung Stories), The Good Son (Paul McVeigh, Salt Publishing), Things We Have in Common (Tasha Kavanagh, Canongate) and Shame (Melanie Finn, Weidenfeld & Nicolson). The winner of the award, which has the same criteria as the Man Booker Prize, will receive a Guardian coffee mug.
