Shortlist announced for 2015 Diagram Prize for oddest book title

The shortlist for the 2015 Diagram Prize for Oddest Book Title of the Year, presented by the Bookseller, has been announced. The seven titles selected for the shortlist are: Nature’s Nether Regions (Menno Schilthuizen, Viking), Advanced Pavement Research: Selected, Peer Reviewed Papers from the 3rd International Conference on Concrete Pavements Design, Construction, and Rehabilitation (ed by Bo Tian, Trans Tech), The Madwoman in the Volvo: My Year of Raging Hormones (Sandra Tsing-Loh, Norton), Where do Camels Belong? (Ken Thompson, Profile), Divorcing a Real Witch: For Pagans and the People That Used to Love Them (Diana Rajchel, Moon Books), The Ugly Wife is Treasured at Home (Melissa Margaret Schneider, Potomac) and Strangers Have the Best Candy (Margaret Meps Schulte, Choose Art). The winner will be chosen by a public vote and announced on 27 March. The prize is a ‘passable bottle of claret’. Last year’s winner was How to Poo on a Date (Mats & Enzo, Carlton Books).
