New owner for Guinness World Records
Guinness World Records has been sold by HIT Entertainment to Canadian-based The Jim Pattison Group, which owns the 'Ripley's Believe it or Not' franchise.
Who will buy Guinness?
Viacom and Disney have been suggested as possible bidders for the Guinness World Records franchise, with Random, Macmillan and HarperCollins also thought to be contenders.
