International publishers to visit Auckland in May

The Publishers Association of New Zealand (PANZ) has announced the guests participating in this year’s PANZ International Summit. The summit will take place in Auckland on 14 May, immediately prior to the Auckland Writers Festival. The international guests are: José Borghino, policy director, International Publishers Association; Henry Rosenbloom, founder and editor, Scribe; and Will Atkinson, MD and publisher, Atlantic Books. The international speakers program aims to increase the sale of international rights of New Zealand books; encourage translation of New Zealand literature; generate invitations for local authors to participate in international events; and strengthen relationships with international publishers.
