Booktopia makes ‘BRW’ Fast 100 for sixth year

Online bookseller Booktopia has been included in the Business Review Weekly Fast 100 list of fastest growing Australian companies for the sixth year running, with revenues of $39.3 million in the 2013-14 financial year. 

Booktopia CEO Tony Nash told Books+Publishing that Booktopia’s sales increased by 46% in the year ending June 2014, and that the online bookstore is the only retailer to make it onto the BRW list for six years running. Nash added that, since first being ranked on the BRW list, Booktopia has ‘increased sales almost sixfold’.

The official rankings for the 2014 BRW list will be announced later this year. As previously reported by Books+Publishing, Booktopia made the 2013 list with revenues of $27.1 million.
