University presses and libraries debate the future

A US conference on the future of university presses also touched on interestign/worrying topics for libraries and campus booksellers, such as the stat that 47% of books acquired for libraries from 2000 to 2009 were never checked out, and that some libraries are now dropping a new title from their catalogue if it isn’t requested within the first six months.
