New head for Lonely Planet TV

Lonely Planet has announced the appointment of Sue Norton as senior vice-president and head of Lonely Planet Television, to be based in the BBC Worldwide Productions office in Los Angeles. Reporting to Matt Goldberg, Lonely Planet CEO, Norton 'will be responsible for building Lonely Planet’s programming and presence on television and video around the globe, and accelerating the development of short-form digital video content for web, mobile and partner distribution.'
