UK publishing industry 'is failing ebook customers'

Edmund Conway of the Telegraph has bought himself a Sony E-reader, but while he likes the device, he isn't happy: 'what makes this something of a disaster is the sheer difficulty of getting hold of books to put onto it. Unless you’re only into modern bestsellers a la Grisham, or pre-copyright classics, you simply won’t be able to find your favourite books on the open market, and will be consigned to precisely the kind of trite dross you bought an ebook to avoid.'
