Over 100 jobs saved at CUP

More than 100 jobs under threat at Cambridge University Press (CUP) have been saved, the company has announced.
Employees were furious at the firm’s plans to axe 133 jobs from its famous printing division, plus up to 30 more from other departments. But, following talks with the Unite union, CUP will now be making just 58 staff redundant in total, including 48 from the printing section.
