Krystian Bala, a Polish crime writer, has been found guilty of murder and sentenced to 25 years. Prosecutors alleged that Bala had killed a businessman then published a novel containing details of the killing; Bala's defence was that he had taken details of the case from press reports and made up other aspects of the story.
