A US soldier's irreverent memoir about a year fighting in Iraq has won this year's Blooker Prize for the best book of the year based on a blog.
My War: Killing Time in Iraq by Colby Buzzell began as an anonymous blog and was then published as a book by Penguin in the US and by Corgi in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
The Blooker Award is sponsored by print-on-demand publishing company Lulu.com.
