Locus Awards 2015 finalists announced

The finalists for the 2015 Locus Awards for science-fiction and fantasy writing have been announced, and include several Australians.

Garth Nix has been nominated in the young-adult category for Clariel (A&U); ‘The Truth About Owls’ by Amal El-Mohtar, originally published by Australian publisher Twelfth Planet Press in the anthology Kaleidoscope (ed by Alisa Krasnostein & Julia Rios), is a finalist in the short-story category; Shaun Tan is nominated in the artist category; and Australian science-fiction publisher and Locus reviews editor Jonathan Strahan is nominated in the editor and anthology categories for Reach for Infinity (Solaris).
