Bestsellers this week

True stories are in demand this week, as two memoirs top the highest new entries and fastest movers charts. Somebody That I Used to Know (The Five Mile Press), Bunkie King’s story of her younger years and relationship with actor Jack Thompson, is the highest new entry, while 22-year-old YouTube v-logger Connor Franta’s memoir A Work in Progress (S&S) tops the fastest movers. Also in the fastest movers chart is Still Alice author Lisa Genova’s latest novel, Inside the O’Briens (S&S), about a police officer who is diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease. The Girl on the Train (Paula Hawkins, Doubleday) is at the top of a mostly unchanged bestsellers chart, with only two new titles entering this week’s top 10: David Gillespie’s latest book on healthy eating, Eat Real Food (Macmillan), and Paullina Simons’ new novel Lone Star (HarperCollins)—Books+Publishing (source: Nielsen BookScan, week ending 11 April 2015)
