Ebook price comparison site launches

Ebookant.com is a new Australian-based website that offers consumers price comparisons on over 270,000 ebook titles (and 60,000 e-magazines, 5000 e-textbooks and 50,000 e-chapters).

The site was created by Jason Davis, who also runs the Book Bee ebook blog and  information site. 'EbookAnt.com currently has digital feeds from ebooks.com, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, A1Books, Smashwords, Zinio magazines, eMagazines.com, and eTextbook suppliers eCampus.com and CengageBrain,' Davis told the Weekly Book Newsletter. 'I have contacted all the other major ebook/emag suppliers and I'd love to have the entire industry covered eventually.'

Other price comparison sites such as Booko and Getprice offer similar services for physical products, hunting the web for listed prices of print books, DVDs, etc.
