NLA announces new fellowships

The National Library of Australia (NLA) has announced a new program of fellowships funded by more than $500,000 in private donations, reports PSnewsonline.

The program is divided into four categories:

NLA director-general Anne-Marie Schwirtlich said in a statement that the new fellowships are ‘broader in scope and offer significant financial assistance’, and ‘will help promote the rich National Library of Australia collection to a brand-new audience’.

The new program replaces the former Harold White Fellowships, which have supported over 150 research fellows since 1983.

More information about the fellowships can be found here.
