Nominations are open for the new Book Industry Digital Innovation Award. presented by the Australian Publishers Association and sponsored by Publishing Technology as part of the 2012 Australian Book Industry Awards.

The award celebrates a digital initiative created by an Australian business or individual/s that has engaged key stakeholders, showed innovation and provided a meaningful contribution to raising the awareness of books both within and outside of the industry.

As this is an inaugural award, the initiative can pre-date 2011 (maximum 3 years) but will be judged on the impact it had in the calendar year 2011. The entry fee is $68 (inc. GST) and the award is open to all business or individuals operating within the Australian Book Industry.
