The White Ravens catalogue is produced annually by the International Youth Library in Germany, with titles chosen for ‘the universal relevance of the themes they address, their literary and pictorial qualities, or their innovative content or design’.

The list has traditionally been announced at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. However, from this year onwards, the list will be released at the Frankfurt Book Fair with the titles to be displayed at the following Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

This year’s catalogue has also been redesigned to mark the 50th anniversary of the White Ravens. The catalogue features 200 picture books, children’s and young adult books from 50 countries published in more than 30 languages, with short reviews of each title.
