Macmillan Education joins Copyright Agency’s LearningField

The Copyright Agency’s LearningField etextbook subscription service has expanded to include content from ‘all six of the major Australian educational publishers’ after Macmillan Education signed up to the service.

The Copyright Agency said in a statement that the recent acquisition of Macmillan Education and Insight Publications brings the total number of participating publishers up to nine.

As previously reported by Books+Publishing, the LearningField platform was launched at the beginning of 2014 with content from Cambridge University Press, Jacaranda (Wiley), Oxford University Press, Pearson, Cengage Learning, Helleman Books and PCS Publications. The platform allows teachers to aggregate learning materials from a range of educational publishers, and has been operating in secondary schools in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
