Authors in the running for ‘Cosmo’ Fun Fearless Female poll

A number of authors are in the running for Cosmopolitan magazine’s annual Fun Fearless Female poll.

Nominated in the Author category are:

  • Hannah Kent (Burial Rites, Picador)
  • Romy Ash (Floundering, Text)
  • Turia Pitt (Everything to Live For, William Heinemann)
  • Anna Krien (Night Games, Black Inc.)
  • Steph Bowe (All This Could End, Text)
  • Summer Land (Summerlandish, Hardie Grant)
  • Jessica Irvine (Zombies, Bananas and Why There Are No Economists in Heaven, Fairfax Books)
  • Nelika McDonald (The Vale Girl, Pan Macmillan)
  • Leila Rudge (Ted, Walker)
  • Sunni Overend (March, self-published).

 

The poll closes on 1 November. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Sydney on 13 November. Last year’s winner in the Author category was Zoe Foster Blake (The Younger Man, Michael Joseph), who also won the overall Woman of the Year award.
