Changes at ‘Bookseller+Publisher’

Bookseller+Publisher is kicking off the new year with a new publication and a new name.

Bookseller+Publisher Daily, which will launch on Monday 14 January, will feature the latest local news each morning, as well as a round-up of interesting developments overseas.

The Daily newsletter is not a replacement for the Weekly Book Newsletter (WBN), which will continue to bring you all the important news of the week in one place, as well as classified and job ads, notices and staff moves. However, the Daily will bring you breaking news faster.

WBN subscribers will automatically receive the Daily newsletter from next Monday, but will have the option to unsubscribe if they prefer. Non-subscribers will also be able to sign up for the free Daily newsletter, however, they will be unable to access the full content, which will be available to subscribers only.

In February Bookseller+Publisher magazine and online will also be rebranded as Books+Publishing to reflect the publication’s growing audience among schools, libraries and bookish consumers, as well as its core audience of booksellers and publishers.

Books+Publishing magazine will be a quarterly publication, and each issue will include a flip-cover edition of Junior Books+Publishing. The combined publication will be distributed to schools across Australia.

Pre-publication reviews of Australian and New Zealand titles will continue to be published monthly at the website www.booksellerandpublisher.com.au and distributed in Books+Publishing’s Reviews and Junior newsletters. Features, opinion pieces and interviews will also be published regularly online throughout the year.

If you have any questions about the changes, please email the team at bookseller.publisher@thorpe.com.au.
